Forwarding from Yahoo Mail
Yahoo Mail forwards all of a mailbox's mail, not letters from one sender, and on many accounts only with a paid plan. If your account doesn't offer Forwarding, subscribe each service with the AlertKeeper address directly instead.
Steps
- In Yahoo Mail: Settings → More settings → Mailboxes, choose your address, and under Forwarding type the AlertKeeper address.
- Yahoo sends a verification letter to the AlertKeeper mailbox. Sign in to the AlertKeeper Gmail in your browser, open that letter and follow its link.
- Everything now arrives at AlertKeeper: on Review, choose "Ignore everything from this address" for mail that isn't from a service.
What you should see
- Yahoo shows the forwarding address as verified; the services' letters arrive on Alerts.
If it doesn't work
- No Forwarding option: your Yahoo plan doesn't include it. Subscribe the services with the AlertKeeper address directly.
