Free services to start with
Two free services are a good way to see AlertKeeper work. Their lines are information only: grey on the Alerts, never counted as a recommendation.
ARK Invest and Zacks are examples of letters AlertKeeper can read, not services we suggest or endorse. AlertKeeper recommends no service.
Steps
- ARK trade notifications: on ark-funds.com, find Trade Notifications and sign up with your AlertKeeper address. It's a separate sign-up from ARK's research letters โ those don't include the trades. The notification comes from tradingdesk@arkfunds.com each trading evening.
- Zacks: make a free Zacks account with your AlertKeeper address and subscribe to Profit from the Pros (daily, in the morning) and the Free 7 Stocks portfolio update (daily).
- +words are optional: you may sign up as yourname.alerts+ark@gmail.com and yourname.alerts+zacks@gmail.com. Gmail delivers them to the same mailbox, and AlertKeeper knows the service even if its sender changes.
What you should see
- ARK's trades on Alerts after the next trading evening; Zacks pick and ranks the next morning.
- Zacks welcome and account letters marked as promotions: AlertKeeper reads nothing from them.
If it doesn't work
- Nothing from ARK: check you joined Trade Notifications, not only the research list.
- Nothing at all: in the AlertKeeper Gmail, look in Spam and mark the letters "Not spam" (AlertKeeper doesn't read Spam).
- A letter under Review as "a sender AlertKeeper doesn't know": choose the service there, and its letters are read again.
